Fri, Feb 23 at 5pm

This event has passed.

Lock the doors and turn out the lights for a selection of horrifying shorts made to get under your skin.

  • Awake: Farmers John and Betty sense something’s not quite right on their farm in New York’s Wallkill River Valley. They are disturbed to discover their beloved cow has been mutilated and their crops wrecked again, all while someone—or something—stalks them just out of reach.
  • Paragon: One quiet night in the summer of 1984, an MIT student discovers an unfathomable horror after accidentally inventing a computer program that can predict the future.
  • Vemana: When Emily and her boyfriend flee to Upstate NY to get away from her abusive father, they encounter a bigger problem as they are captured by the son of an Aztec cult.
  • Dog: Kaede Tsuchida seems to have limited potential in life, but her good looks and quiet manner have attracted an elite, controlling lover, Yonehara. Their random encounter in the street with a woman who ferociously barks at them like a dog will change Kaede's fate.
  • Get Away: A group of friends spending the weekend at a remote vacation rental in the desert, play a mysterious VHS tape, and realize that there are too many strange and terrifying coincidences.

This program will premiere at the Virtual Boston Sci Fi Film Festival through Filmocracy at 5 PM and will be available to stream for 48 hours.
