Lisa DOWNS started her documentary career whilst in Wagga Wagga, Australia when she made a documentary short on location in India - LOST CHILDREN OF TIBET - which won the Grand Jury Prize at the New York Video & Film Festival. After a few years in travel documentaries, Lisa found herself Skyping the man who saved everyone of us, Flash Gordon aka Sam J Jones, and the Life After series was born. Now she produces, directs and edits all of her films and show cases two of them at SF49.
