When 48 up-and-coming comedians step into the ring of the Boston Comedy Festival, it's only the most innovative and ground-breaking of stand-ups that emerge as champions. Returning to the stage, Champions of the Boston Comedy Festival brings back four of their past winners to showcase the best talent throughout the years. Featuring past champions Dan Boulger (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson), Peter Martin , Drew Dunn and Alingon Mitra(The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson) . The Champions of the Boston Comedy Festival is sure to deliver knockout laughter with the decade's funniest comics.

Dan Boulger began his comedy career in late 2004 only one week into his freshman year of college. Quickly becoming a favorite in the New England area Boulger started performing nationally after winning the Boston Comedy Festival in 2006 at the age of 20.

He has since received recognition from both audiences and industry alike has performed on Comedy Central, The BBC, and the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, and most recently has made multiple appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. Due to his age he is an ideal college performer and has appeared on several high profile college tours such as the Comedy Central Live and College Humor Live tours and has been able to be the supporting act for many famous comedians including Bill Burr, Louis CK, and Zach Galifianakis.

Peter Martin is a Comedian hailing from Somerville MA. His humor resonates with the same gritty taste and sensibilities of the Boston blue collar working class. From absurd silliness to intelligent satire, Peter Martin over the past seven years has become a well known and established talent in the Boston comedy scene. Peter beat out literally hundreds of comedians to become the winner of the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival comedy contest!

Drew Dunn started performing comedy at the age of 21 and hasn't looked back since. This NH based comic performs all over New England and New York City. Drew's quick wit and unique point of view have allowed him to quickly establish himself as one of the regions fastest rising comedians. Coming from a large family and being a young newlywed provides this comic with endless stories to entertain crowds of any age. Drew's use of voices and accents always leaves audiences laughing and wanting more. Along with being a finalist in multiple other contests all over the region, Drew won the New Hampshire's Best New Comic Contest in 2014. Drew was featured in the prestigious Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson's hometown of Norfolk, NE. Drew is also the most recent winner of the Boston Comedy Festival. 

Alingon Mitra is a stand up comedian known for his tight jokes, original thoughts, and affable presence.

Making his television debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Alingon finished first in the public vote 5 weeks in a row to win the comic comeback contest and perform on the finale. He has since been invited to do stand up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Adam Devine's House Party on Comedy Central. In addition, he wrote for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Adam Ruins Everything. Alingon went on to be named one of the "New Faces of Comedy" at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He also won both the Boston Comedy Festival and the "Funniest Comic in New England" contest in the same year. Alingon was a writer for the humor magazine The Harvard Lampoon and can now be found on Twitter, on Facebook, or in bed.
